If you want to pursue post-graduation in India for degrees like MD, MS or DNB, you have to appear the NEET PG Exam. Considering the ratio of number of post graduate seats available in India and number of candidates who appear for exam; the competition is very high. Many of the doctors want to pursue the currier abroad in countries like USA, UK, and Australia etc. MRCP UK is internationally recognized; highly prestigious post graduate level qualification in internal medicine and gaining this qualification will help you expand your currier in UK. This qualification will help you to get jobs in reputed hospitals in UAE, Gulf, Singapore and many other countries.
The good news is now you can appear for MRCP UK exam from India and you do not have to travel for exam overseas. MRCP UK is recognized by National Medical Council (NMC) India/ MCI. Many corporate and private hospitals in India prefer candidates who are MRCP UK. Eligibility of this exam is MBBS with completion of one year of internship. Other entry exams like PLAB/ NEET PG are not required to appear for this exam. Even other language exam like ILTS is also not required. MRCP UK is considered as equivalent to MD.
After achieving the qualification of MRCP UK from India, you can practice in India or you can expand your currier internationally.
